Profoto Connect is the buttonless trigger that connects your camera and your Profoto flash unit. This makes light shaping easier than ever. The device has only three settings: "Auto", "Manual" and "Off". In Auto mode, you simply press your camera shutter release and get a good exposure because the flash output is calculated automatically. In manual mode ("Manual"), you can fine-tune the flash either manually or via the Profoto app.

The Profoto app is available for the iPhone from model 7 with iOS 11 or later. Only with this app can you fully control the Profoto Connect and perform firmware upgrades.
