Viele Fotografen versuchen heute den Bildlook analoger Foto-Filme mit komplizierter Software nachzuahmen. Manchmal gelingt das ganz gut, doch an die schöne Körnung und die besonderen Farben von echtem Film reicht es lange nicht heran. Lange Zeit dachte man, dass die analoge Fotografie allmählich komplett von der Bildfläche verschwindet. Doch in letzten Jahren lässt sich das genaue Gegenteil beobachten. Immer mehr, vor allem junge Menschen, wollen etwas Neues ausprobieren und greifen dabei auf Foto-Filme zurück. Hersteller wir Fujifilm, Agfaphoto oder Ilford vermelden steigende Umsätze und kündigen sogar an, wieder mehr in die Entwicklung von analogen Foto-Filmen zu investieren. Die Haptik und die Bedienung einer analogen Kamera ist ein Erlebnis, das mit der berechnenden Kühle der digitalen Fotografie verloren ging. Trotz aller Neuerungen konnten sich aber Firmen wie Leica oder Polaroid ihren legendären Status bewahren. Analoge Fotografie wird durch die Entwicklung von Schwarzweißfilmen oder Farb-Negativfilmen im Heimlabor gekrönt. Nichts ist spannender als die Momente, in denen sich entscheidet, ob die Foto-Filme richtig belichtet wurden oder nicht. Ein neuer Trend mit erstaunlichem Wachstumspotenzial ist die Sofortbildfotografie, die vor allem von Fujifilm vorangetrieben wird. Immer öfter sieht man sogar im Nachtleben die kleinen, stylischen Sofortbildkameras. Analoge Fotografie ist eine Leidenschaft, die einen nicht mehr loslässt, sobald sie einen erstmal ergriffen hat.
