Compact, fast full-frame lens for Nikon Z-mount with robust, durable all-metal lens barrel and manual focus for reliable fine focusing.

Fast, aspherical 40 mm full-frame lens for Nikon Z-mount.
The optical construction consists of eight elements in six groups, two of which are double-sided aspherical elements. Despite its compact size, the lens achieves an amazingly large aperture of F1.2. The manual focus Lens has been specially optimized for the image sensor of Nikon Z-mount models. As a result, the very popular 40mm focal length in the previous Voigtländer range can now finally be used on Nikon Z models.
The lens is equipped with electronic contacts and enables communication between the Lens and the Body.

In addition to the Exif information and the camera's internal image stabilization (3 axes), the combination with a compatible body and the latest firmware (* 1) supports three types of focusing functions:

(1) Focusing by changing the colour of the focus point frame
(2) Focusing with peaking function and
(3) Focusing with the magnification button.

Further product features:
Exclusively developed for the Nikon Z mount
Data communication with the Body via electronic contacts
