High user-friendliness thanks to convenient operation
As the connecting element between the tripod and camera, the ball head has an important function: it ensures that cameras and other photographic equipment are securely attached. This makes smooth movements and quick format changes child's play. A ball head therefore provides the flexibility you need in everyday photography.

The mantona Scout L ball head is particularly recommended for use on the mantona Scout tripod (and is also fitted here as standard), but can of course also be used on other photo or lamp tripods. The mantona Scout ball head already has a quick-release plate as standard. Additional quick-release plates, which are very useful in practice, are available separately under the mantona manufacturer number 18004.

The quick-release plate and therefore also the ball head can also be combined with quick-release plates from other manufacturers (e.g. Manfrotto 200PL). This means you can leave your quick-release plates attached directly to your photo equipment and simply click your camera into the ball head, for example. The mantona Scout L ball head is therefore very well suited for use with digital, DSLR, compact or DSLM cameras, as well as generally as a ball head for attaching photographic equipment.

Lightweight, robust and versatile
The mantona Scout L ball head is lightweight, robust and can take loads of up to 5 kg. It has a fastening lever with friction function for locking and operation. The ball head also has two U-shaped recesses for a lightning-fast format change. The height of the mantona Scout ball head is 90 mm, with a weight of 289 g including the standard quick-release plate. The quick-release plate can be inserted quickly and easily from the side or from above. A quick-release fastener with lever and clip-in mechanism securely locks your camera in place and reliably prevents the plate from coming loose unintentionally.

The rubberized quick-release plate ensures that the camera rests stably and securely. The quick-release plate made of aluminum is precisely manufactured and has a 1/4 inch threaded connection. The ball head itself has a 3/8 inch threaded hole on the underside and can therefore be screwed onto all suitable tripods. With a separately available 3/8 to 1/4 inch thread adapter, tripods with a 1/4 inch connection can of course also be used.

  • Manfrotto 200PL compatible quick release system

  • Stable, precise and functional ball head
  • Double U recess for quick format change
  • Locking lever with friction function
