LEICA NOCTILUX-M 1:1.25/75 ASPH.
The revolution in portrait photography.
Depth of field - redefined
For more than 50 years, the name Noctilux has been synonymous with cutting-edge technology at the limits of what is possible. The basis was and is outstanding engineering performance "made in Germany". The new Leica Noctilux-M 1:1.25/75 ASPH. has everything it takes to become a legend: a wafer-thin depth of field combined with outstanding imaging performance and a uniquely soft bokeh that makes photographers' dreams come true.

The optical design allows an outstandingly detailed cropping of the subject and thus images with a unique character.

With a focal length of 75mm, it is perfect for natural-looking portrait shots. An optic for M and SL photographers who are looking for something special and know how to use creativity in their visual language.

Technical details
The Leica Noctilux-M 1:1.25/75 ASPH. works with nine lenses in six groups. Two aspherical lenses have been used to ensure optimum imaging performance over the entire image range.
A floating element ensures that this is also maintained at close range from 0.85 m.

This extremely short distance for a fast Lens and the magnification of 1:8.8 underline its particular suitability for portrait and detail shots. The harmonious bokeh of the lens is created by a round aperture image formed by 11 aperture blades. A built-in, lockable lens hood protects the Lens from stray light and dirt. In addition, the Leica Noctilux-M 1:1.25/75 ASPH. is extremely future-proof, as it has large performance reserves that also permit image cropping by sensors with smaller pixels.

Excellent design - in every respect
It is not only the inner values of the Leica Noctilux-M 1:1.25/75 ASPH. that are convincing. The Lens also impresses on the outside with its quality craftsmanship and the reduction to the essentials that is typical of Leica.
