  • Circular polarizing filter with antistatic coating
  • Reduces reflections and increases color saturation
  • Dust, water and stain resistant
  • Requires less frequent cleaning than conventional filters
  • 16-layer super-multi-coating (both sides)

HOYA engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Perfect for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than conventional filters.

In addition, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent and dirt-repellent and is easy to clean if smudges or fingerprints get onto the surface.

With circular polarizing filters, photographers can achieve creative effects directly in the camera that are no longer possible after the picture has been taken. A polarizing filter simply filters out unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, as well as light reflected from moisture and pollution in the atmosphere. By rotating the Ultra-Smooth filter, you can select the exact level of filtering required for the creative effect. This results in a bluer sky, greener leaves, reduced or eliminated reflections and greater clarity in your final image.

The new professional FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT filters are made in Japan from hand-selected silicates that are carefully melted and blended to create high-performance optical glass. HOYA applies extreme care and precision to apply the enhanced 18-layer super multi-coating formula (on both sides), which greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and achieves very high light transmission rates. This means that beyond its polarizing effect, the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast or clarity of the final image.

The filter has a lightweight, two-part, very flat aluminum frame in which the glass is housed. The flat frame prevents vignetting when used with ultra wide angle lenses.

Features:
Antistatic coating repels dust
Ultra-smooth filter rotation
Stain-resistant - Protects against contact with ink, markers, etc.
Water-repellent - Water beads up and can be easily wiped away
Fingerprints and smudges can be wiped off cleanly
HOYA's professional quality optical glass
Two-piece, very flat filter frame with front filter thread
