Hoya Fusion -Antistatic Next Cir PL Filter 52 mm
18-layer super-multi-coated filter that repels dust and negates static electricity.

Hoya engineers have developed an antistatic coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. These filters are perfect for environments where dust is common and require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than conventional filters.

In addition, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water and dirt repellent and is easy to clean if smudges or fingerprints get on the surface.

Circular polarizing filters allow photographers to achieve creative effects in-camera that are not possible after the image is created. A polarizing filter simply filters out unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, in addition to light reflected from moisture and pollution in the atmosphere. By rotating the ultra-smooth filter, you can select just the right amount of filtration needed to achieve the creative effect. This results in bluer skies, greener leaves, reduced or eliminated reflections and greater clarity in your final image.

Fusion Antistatic Next professional filters are made in Japan from hand-selected silicates that are carefully melted and blended to create high-performance optical glass. Hoya applies extreme care and precision to apply the enhanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating formula (both sides), which greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and achieves very high light transmission rates. This means that beyond its polarizing effects, the filter has virtually no impact on the colour balance, contrast or clarity of the final image.

The filter has a lightweight, two-piece, very flat aluminium frame to hold the glass. The flat frame eliminates vignetting when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
