Although it weighs less than 1 kg, it carries an impressive 30 kg of equipment.
The head can easily hold combinations of a system or DSLR camera with lenses up to 600 mm. It fits perfectly with Gitzo Systematic tripods from series 3, 4 and 5 and is available as a version with lever and screw locking of the quick-release plate.

This series 4 ball head has a larger, super-smooth coated hollow ball. It enables comfortable and safe operation even with heavier equipment and under extreme conditions at temperatures between -30 and 70 °C.

A dedicated adjustment wheel for precise adjustment of the friction and a spirit level for levelling based on the actual horizon. The independently lockable 360° swivel axis offers the smoothest movements with its own damping cartridge and the quick fixation with a small twist ensures the perfect shot in no time.

All components have been manufactured from the highest quality materials with maximum precision - including the most resistant materials such as steel and aluminum.

The Gitzo Series 4 ball head offers an unmatched load capacity, ultra-smooth movements and fast friction adjustment, despite its low weight of less than one kilo. Design and precision "Made in Italy". The head is supplied with a type D quick-release plate. Gitzo's type D is also compatible with the Arca-Swiss standard.
