COKIN NUCANCES GND filters (Graduated Neutral Density) are made from high-quality B270® Schott glass. The transmission properties are particularly high and impress with low reflection. During development, particular emphasis was placed on ensuring that the coating is precisely matched to the gray scale.

The surface is fire-polished and therefore highly resistant to both chemicals and heat. All this combines to make the COKIN NUANCES gray gradient filters a quality product of impressive neutrality. This is particularly evident when using several graduated filters at the same time, which ensures a solid darkening of the desired areas without color shifts.

Cokin NUANCES GND filters are used when you want to darken an area of the image that is too bright. This is the main difference to the Cokin NUANCES Full ND filters, which reduce the light reaching the sensor over the entire surface. In practice, the NUANCES GND filters darken bright areas such as the sky - in landscape photography - and in this way bring contrast and structure to the clouds. Depending on the placement of the filter, the darker areas remain unaffected by the effect and can therefore be correctly exposed with all details.

Cokin NUANCES GND filters are compatible with the Cokin CREATIVE filter holders size M, which are available as an option. For almost limitless creativity, the NUANCES GND filters can be combined with other filters from the CREATIVE filter system.
