  • Fast Standard Zoom Lens
  • Travel, nature & landscape, sports & action, animals, people & portrait, events
  • Zoom lock switch
  • Lens hood with lock
  • Dust and splash proof mount
  • Reflection and ghost minimizing design
  • 11-lamella round aperture opening
  • high-precision and robust brass bayonet

Versatile, compact and fast! With the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art, another fast standard zoom joins the family after the 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN. It can be used for almost all areas. From landscape photography, to travel photography, to portrait and even macro photography - with this Lens you gain the perfect, constant companion.

Unsurpassed sharpness of the 24-70mm DG DN | Art

In addition to Super Multi-Layer Coating (SML), the 24-70mm DG DN | Art also features Sigma's proprietary Nano Porous Coating technology. An applied silicon dioxide layer ensures that light can enter the glass without scattering. The result is crisp, clear, high-contrast photos without flare or ghosting. This is especially useful for backlit shots. Chromatic aberrations are virtually non-existent with this Lens, due to the combination of multiple lenses, including two SLD and six FLD lenses, with varying degrees of dispersion.

As close as a macro lens

The close focus distance of the Lens depends on the focal length. If you shoot at 24mm, the closest focusing distance is 18cm, a value usually found in macro lenses. At 70mm, the value is 38cm. Whether wide-angle or telephoto, the reproduction scales of 1:2.9 or 1:4.5 offer you numerous possibilities to give free rein to your creativity.

Bokeh & aperture of the Sigma Art 24-70

This Lens offers circular bokeh thanks to its 11 built-in aperture blades. As a result, making the subject stand out from the background with the f/2.8 aperture is buttery smooth throughout.

Ergonomics and weight

With a length of 12.5cm and a weight of 830g, the 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art is quite average among classic standard zoom lenses. What you don't save directly in size and weight, however, is made up for by the fact that it covers a wide range of uses, saving you from having to travel with multiple Lenses. An AF/MF switch, which many conventional lenses from SIGMA also feature, is also present. The controls, such as the zoom ring and focus ring, are characterized by a pleasant feel. A solid brass bayonet also adds to the longevity of the Lens. Autofocus can be turned off by pressing the AFL button. In combination with some cameras, the button's function can be individualized via the menu.

Robust construction

No matter the weather, the 24-70mm DG DN | Art is equipped against it! The Lens's robust construction protects it from dust and splashing water, allowing you to devote your full attention to photography regardless of the field of use or environment.
